How To Have More Influence As A Leader

A key part of leading is winning hearts and minds of others.

So how can you have more influence as a leader?

  1. Be clear on the outcome that you want to achieve.
  2. Take the time to consider the objections that might be raised.
  3. Respond to the objections raised only once you have clarity about the objections – in other words, listen.
  4. Take the time to explain to those impacted by your decisions what you have decided and why.

The truth is that simple changes can make big differences to the results you achieve when it comes to influencing.
