Big Challenges Need Different Thinking

Throughout the world, it is clear that many organisations are facing some major challenges.

After a period of what might best be described as ‘continued growth’, things are much tougher.

For leaders this requires some tough choices to be made. I also believe that it is going to require a different level of thinking.

The different thinking might be about:

  • The structure of the organisation.
  • The service delivery model.
  • The way in which technology is utilised.
  • Mergers, consolidation or acquisitions.
  • Markets to develop or exit.
  • What can realistically be offered with the level of resources available.

At the end of the day, the leaders who can think differently and continue to come up with innovative ways of continuing to provide what they offer will be those that stand out.
