Add This To Make Your CV Stand Out

Hi it's Duncan Brodie here from Goals and Achievements.

In this short video, I want to talk about the number one thing that I see that's missing from the vast majority of CVs that I look up from accountants and professional people.

And that is a lack of achievements.

Now many people spend a lot of time listing out all their responsibilities.

But at the end of the day what employers are looking for is achievements.

Areas where you've made a contribution.

Areas where you've made a difference.

Areas where you have helped the business do things better.

So as well as thinking about your responsibilities, take a time to identify your key achievements in your career and try and then list those within each job.

Because what it will do is let your CV stand out from most other candidates.
